Our Business

We have beautiful grounds with lots of trees, bushes and flowers.  The lawns are mowed weekly and trimmed.  Each tenant is responsible for their own personal garden except in the handicapped units, where we will assist in the care. Our staff cares about Senior Citizens and shows them respect. We want to make them as "at home" as possible. 

Established in 1980, we usually have a waiting list for rentals.  One year lease required. A USDA Rural Development project, Equal Housing.

Sunny Acres is non smoking facility.

Who We Are

We have a property manager available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 4:30 PM.

There is a maintenance person on call 24/7.

Our establishment is a non profit low income housing apartment building run by a volunteer nine member Board of Directors of the Senior Citizens of Chewelah Valley.

Our tenants have regular yard sales and bake sales to fund special projects they would like to have here at Sunny Acres.
